Minecraft Guy is a series of images featuring the head of the default character, Steve, surrounded by Dirt, Cobblestone, Grass, Wood, Lava and Brick textures from the indie game Minecraft.
Origin
The first occurrence of Minecraft Guy was on the blog HALOLOZ on October 18, 2010. The captions read "Wake up on island/Punch Trees" Minecraft Guy's spread began when a quickmeme page was created for it in December of 2011.
Trivia
- This is the only official image series that has originated from Minecraft.
